Students who want to Appear GATE 2026 Exam can apply online from 25 August 2025 to 25 September 2025. About IIT GATE 2026:
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and all 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). GATE is conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) and evaluates the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering, Technology, and Architecture; and both undergraduate and post-graduate level subjects in Science, Humanities, Commerce, and Arts. The GATE score reflects the relative performance level of the candidate in a particular test paper. GATE 2026 score will be valid for THREE YEARS from the date of announcement of results. No information
on GATE 2026 score will be available after this period.

How To Apply IIT GATE Online Form 2026?:
- Visit the official website and click on the IIT GATE Online Form 2026 Registration link.
- Read all the instructions carefully and select the checkbox to accept the terms & conditions.
- After this, click the “Click Here to Proceed” button.
- A new GATE Exam 2026 Application form page will appear on the screen.
- Now, enter the personal details like name, mother’s name, father’s name, DOB, Address, etc. as asked in the form, and click on the “Submit” button.
- Confirm the details and submit the form to complete the GATE 2026 Registration process.
- Login to the website of GATE with enrolment ID and Password.
- Enter the personal details, education qualification, subject code, etc.
- Now, choose the three exam centres as per your preferences.
- After that, verify all the details and click on the “submit” button.
