- Graduate Degree from a recognized University.
- Candidate should have passed Diploma in Sports Coaching in the relevant sport from National Sports Institute run by Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (Sports Authority of India) or
Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching (PGDSC) course from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior or a Central Sports University or any other sports university recognized by the UGC or Bihar Sports University.
- Should have represented the country in recognized Competitions or represented the State in National/International Championships such as Olympics/Commonwealth games/Asian games or should have participated at least twice in All India Inter University/Recognized Junior Championship/National Youth Cahampionship or 03 times in Inter Services Competition/All India Police Games/Inter Railway Championship.
