How To Apply UP Police Constable Form 2023

1.Candidates have to fill up the Online Application form provided on this website.

2.Candidates need to register through “Apply Online‟ button by providing essential information like name, father’s name, mother’s name, DOB, Gender, marital status, category, state of domicile, aadhaar no (not mandatory) and communication information like address, mobile no., e-mailID. It may be noted that the details provided at this stage cannot be modified later on, and hence the candidates are advised to be careful in entering the details.

Candidate should enter the details of his Category Certificate, Domicile Certificate etc under the Other Information section.

Under Educational Qualification candidate should enter their 10th and 12th details and under preferential qualification candidate should enter the NCC, Territorial army, O level certificate details, if any. Further candidates should enter their correspondence and Permanent address and submit.

3. Upon successful registration, the candidates can activate their account through the OTP sent to their registered mobile number or registered email id.

4. Once the candidate’s account is activated, he/she can subsequently login with their Registration number and DOB and make the payment. Once the payment is successful candidate is required to upload his/her recent passport sized photograph(35mm x 45mm) in JPEG/JPG/JPE format (of size min 20 kb but not more than 50 kb) and a scanned copy of their signature(35mm x 15 mm) in JPEG/JPG/JPE format (of size min 5 kb but not more than 20kb).

5. Candidate must upload his/her 10th and 12th certificates, other relevant documents related to selection done during filling primary registration and complete their registration process and then take print of the Application Form (Acknowledgement).

Process & Instructions:
Application Procedure: 4 Simple Steps (Primary Stage, Activation, Payment, Photo and Document Upload) to be followed to apply online
Step1: Primary stage:
In this first stage of registration, the candidates need to fill details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, DOB, Gender, marital status, category, aadhaar no and communication information like address, mobile no., e-mail ID, Educational Qualification, preferential qualification and address. After entering the required details click on ‘Next’ button to see a preview of the details entered for verification. Once submitted the registration number will be generated and OTP will be sent to registered mobile number and email id.
Step2: Activation:
After completion of Primary stage, OTP will be sent to candidate’s registered mobile number and registered E-mail id. Candidate can activate his/her application by using the “Activate through OTP” option in the portal. The candidate can proceed further after the activation of application.
Step3: Payment:
Candidate is required to make an Application Fee Payment. He/ She can pay the fees through the URL given in the Payment Stage. Payment can be done only through SBI Payment Gateway. There is no refund for candidates who make multiple payments.
After completion of payment, the Registration number will be generated and the candidate can take print of his application.
Step4: Photo and Document upload:
After successful completion of payment, candidate must login and upload scanned copy of his/ her photo, signature and applicable documents and complete the registration process
Candidate should take print of the acknowledgment (Application) and keep it for all future references.


FAQ UP Police Constable 2024

1.Can I apply through mobile/other devices

Due to security reasons, you can apply only through desktop/laptop.

2. If my photo and signature is not clearly visible then will my application get rejected.

Yes, if your photo is not clearly visible then your application will/may get rejected.

4. Can I reupload my photo?

You can reupload before photo stage submission. Once photo stage is completed then you cannot reupload your photo

5.What all informations can I edit during the registration process?

In the primary stage, you have preview, so during the completion of the stage you can see the preview and make changes if required, but once you have completed the stage and submitted, you cannot make any changes.

6. Payment is debited from my account, but not succeeded. What should I do?

After 24 hours, you need to go to payment stage and check the status, if succeeded, the Registration number will be generated, otherwise you need to make payment again, if failed.

7. Can I edit my basic information (Primary) after submission?

No, you have to carefully review all your entered details before submission in each stage. Any details entered cannot be edited later after submission.

8. If my DOB or Category is entered wrongly, can I change it later?

9.With which OTP should I verify?

The OTP is sent through both channel Email and SMS. You can verify either through OTP received in Email or SMS.

10. Is there any expiry time for the OTP?

The OTP is valid till the last date of registration.

11. Will I get communication of the Registration Number after completion of application?

Yes, You will get the communication of registration number after completion of application. Also the same will be displayed in the screen for your reference.

12. Can I register on the last day of registration?

There is no bar for registration on the last date. We recommend you to complete your registration prior to last date to avoid last minute rush or payment verification related concerns.

13. If I have entered wrong details in the application. Can I register again?

No, multiple application for the same post will be rejected.
