For Class 1 to 5 (Primary Level)
- 2-Year D.El.Ed (BTC) / BTC (Urdu/Special) / D.Ed (NCTE/RCI) OR
- 2-Year BTC for Shikshamitra OR
- Diploma in Teaching / Moallim-e-Urdu from AMU OR
- 4-Year B.El.Ed (Intermediate with 50% marks) OR
- Candidates appearing in the final year or those who have already passed are both eligible.

For Class 6 to 8 (Junior Level)
- Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed. OR
- Graduation or Post-graduation (with a minimum of 50% marks) + B.Ed. OR
- Note: In special cases, a B.Ed with 45% marks (subject to NCTE norms) is also valid. OR
- B.Ed (Special Education): Graduation or Post-graduation (minimum 50%) + B.Ed (Special Education / RCI Recognized). OR
- B.El.Ed: Class 12 (minimum 50%) + 4-year B.El.Ed. OR
- Integrated Course: Class 12 (minimum 50%) + 4-year B.A. B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed.
- Candidates appearing in the final year or those who have already passed are both eligible.
